Altronics CNC Control Retrofit

The Altronics complete retrofit consists of replacing the CNC machine's control, drive system, machine front panel and replacement of wires/cables. Altronics’ complete CNC retrofit solution will keep your job shop and sheet metal applications going without replacing mechanically sound punch press hardware.

In today’s competitive market, a CNC machine and sheet metal shop can not afford delays or down-time. The root of CNC controller down-time often lies in the failure of components on legacy printed circuit boards. New replacement CNC controller printed circuit boards are no longer available; requiring repair of the old board. Component failures of Westinghouse 2560, Westinghouse Producer I, Automation Intelligence Producer I, Automation Intelligence Producer II, Automation Intelligence Producer Plus and Flexmate CNC controllers involve a continuous repair loop of the CNC printed circuit board.

ALHP is Altronics’ line of PC-based CNC controllers. Altronics specializes in retrofit solutions for hydraulic punch presses. The ALHP CNC retrofit eliminates unreliable, old technology while providing enhanced machine operating functionality and the openness to easily network and install third party CAD/CAM software directly on the controller.

ALHP is designed to withstand the harsh environment of the industrial workshop with noise immunity through fiber optic cabling, climate controlled Rittal cabinet, and industrial strength Beckhoff computer system. Altronics is an authorized systems integrator for Hypertherm. Altronics has 12 years of experience retrofitting plasma torches to CNC punch presses.
